Fresh from the Contact stable, the theatre proudly presents the national tour of Lift Up Festival smash hit, I HEAR VOICES, fast moving, genre defying, humorously poetic examination of the voices we all hear in our heads; Where do the voices come from? What do the voices want? Do the voices make us mad, or keep us sane? How do we know if we’re controlling the voices, or the voices controlling us? What are those voices in our heads? Nightmares? Inspiration? Or Truth?

Writers, beat boxers, MC’s, Actors and Artists weave converging stories about the nagging shards of self doubt, urban paranoia and nightmarish visions which bubble up during our journey down and fast lane of modern life. Combining raw, urgent poetry, with rap, movement and live music, this adrenaline rush of a piece moves the spoken word into urgent and powerful new theatrical realms….
