Who can use BWERANI?

Bwerani is a membership-driven organisation. Its success in offering high quality toys and resources that are multicultural and inclusive lies in the commitment, interest and skills of its broad-based membership.

Membership is one of two categories, and members pay an annual joining fee:

Individual Membership

Entitles individuals to borrow a maximum of 5 items for up to 4 weeks. Individuals can include:

  • Parents/carers families
  • Students attending childcare courses
  • individual child minders
  • Grandparents

Group Membership

Entitles organisations to borrow a maximum of 20 items for up to 6 weeks.

£5.00 Low-waged individuals

 

Borrowing Fee per visit:

£1.50

£1.00 Low-waged individuals

 

Number of items: 5 per visit.
Late returns first 4 weeks: £2.00 per week.
Late returns after first 4 weeks: Invoiced for total cost of goods.
Failure to return: Membership to be terminated and further action taken to recover items.
Damage to resources beyond “Fair wear and tear”: To be charged for at replacement cost.

£3.50 Not-for-profit sector

£6.00 Statutory sector

Number of items: 20 per visit.
Late returns first 4 weeks: £5.00 per week.
Late returns after first 4 weeks: Invoiced for total cost of goods.
Failure to return: Membership to be terminated further action to recover items.
Damage to resources beyond “Fair wear and tear”: To be charged for at replacement cost.
