Afrikan Caribbean Arts Forum

Afrikan Caribbean Arts Forum are now aiming to:
- Lobby and campaign for the development of Afrikan
Caribbean arts and assist in the development of a regional policy that
addresses the needs of artists;
- Encourage greater communication and dissemination
of information in the arts locally through regular meetings, newsletters,
bulletins and topical conferences;
- Identify and develop training for local artists,
arts organisations and groups;
- Give advice, information, practical guidance and
support to artists, local groups, and individuals who are actively involved
in the arts in the region;
- Give advice, information, practical guidance and
support to artists and local groups which are developing their own projects,
particularly for young people;
- Develop a directory of artists, performers and
groups who are actively involved in the arts within the region;
- To network with arts and umbrella organisations,
agencies, RABs both locally and nationally on the behalf of the forum
members.
We welcome singers, songwriters, musicians, dancers, choreographers,
technicians, set designers writers, directors, performers, poets, visual
artists, photographers, arts administrators etc.
